Pre-Race and Race Weekend Activities

• CHECK-IN- Competitor Check-In and Assistance
• VET CHECK- Friday Vet Check Assistance
• ART SHOW & SILENT AUCTION- Friday Saturday Silent Auction Donations and Race Funding
• TEAM HANDLERS-Folks able to run short distances with a team up to the starting line
• SLED HOLDERS-Right at the starting line!  Strong folks with good knees needed to hold the sleds back at the starting line.  A great job for athletes!
• RACE PROGRAM- Race Program, Advertising, & Signage
• TRAIL HELP-Snowmobile Trail Help and Design
• STUDENT ART SHOW- Friday/Saturday Student Art Show
• MOVIES-Friday Evening Children's Movies
• DINNER-Saturday "Meet the Mushers" Community Dinner, Drinks, and Celtic Music by "Gairin."
• SNOWSHOE RACE-Snowhoe Race Organization & Timing
• SLED DOG RACE- Sled Dog Race Timing and Bookkeeping
• SEARCH AND RESCUE-Search & Rescue 50-mile trail Winter Practicum

Your community needs your help to put on an event of this magnitude.  Do you have phone or computer skills?  Are you willing to stand in the snow for a few hours during race weekend?  Help with dinner and dessert?
